FAQ

Q: I've bought tickets online but can't see where my event is?

A: All events take place at various venues at Repton School. Please come to Pears School Hall (there will be plenty of signage!) at Repton School and a steward will direct you to the event space.

Q: I do not have a PayPal account... can I still by tickets?

A: Yes! Once you've chosen which event the booking page please select 'Pay by Credit/Debit card' and you will be taken to a screen where you can enter your credit/debit card details without having to have a PayPal account.

Q: Why is there a £1 charge per transaction?

A: PayPal and SellTickets charge us per transaction and we have to cover our costs - most online transactions have this charge but include it within your ticket price so you don't know it's there. We are being open and honest about the transaction fee. If you feel strongly about the fee, tickets will be available on the door without the transaction fee.

Q: Can I buy tickets/passes on the door? Will I be guaranteed entry?

A: YES! Tickets are available throughout the weekend at the Box Office in Pears School Hall, on the site of Repton School and the heart of the festival. Although we'll make every attempt to allow as many people into each event and are confident that we will make this possible, should an event reach capacity - pre-booked ticket holders will take priority.

Q: How long is each event?

A: All events are approximately 45 minutes - 1 hours. Most author talks will be a talk on the subject followed by an opportunity for questions.
